We bring an ownership mindset to everything we do. Rather than allocating capital from a distance, we build direct relationships with the owners, developers, utilities, lenders and advisors who shape the energy transition, and we stay close to the assets we back, from origination through to exit.

How we started
Earth Power Capital was founded by Koksal Ozmen and Víctor Monje after years spent on different sides of the energy transition: developing and operating assets, and investing in and financing them. That combined experience pointed to the same opportunity, a niche of assets facing dislocation or unusually strong growth potential, where direct ownership and hands-on execution could create value that passive capital cannot.
The firm's approach reflects that origin. Earth Power is deliberately opportunistic, built to pursue these situations deal by deal rather than chase scale for its own sake.
Leadership
Earth Power Capital is led by its two Partners, who bring complementary backgrounds in investment and development to the firm.
Víctor Monje
Partner M&A and Capital FormationVíctor has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy and energy infrastructure, spanning investment, asset management and project development across the UK and continental Europe.
Prior to founding Earth Power Capital, Víctor was Head of Iberia at Schroders Greencoat, where he led investments across the Spanish renewable energy market, with a particular focus on wind and solar generation, deploying capital across assets and partnering with key industry leaders for approximately €800 million. Before establishing the Spanish business, he was involved in the investment and management of renewable energy assets in the UK, contributing to more than €2 billion of transactions and sitting on the board committees of SPVs and joint ventures with leading energy companies.
Earlier in his career, Víctor worked at Element Power, the renewable energy investment and development platform backed by Hudson Clean Energy Partners.
He holds an MEng in Energy Engineering, an MEng in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Renewable Energy, and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
Koksal Ozmen
Partner Development and OperationsKoksal has over 10 years of experience investing in, developing and operating renewable energy infrastructure across Europe and Türkiye.
Prior to founding Earth Power Capital, he was Chief Operating Officer at Kinesis Investment, where he was responsible for the origination, development, financing and execution of renewable energy investments across European markets.
In Italy, he helped establish a development partnership that has grown into a portfolio of more than 550 MW of solar and Agri-PV projects and over 1 GWh of battery storage. He was also involved in the development and subsequent sale of a 110 MWp Italian solar portfolio to a major European energy company.
In Spain, Koksal led the development of the wind business from acquisition through construction and into operations, culminating in the sale of a fully de-risked operating asset to an institutional investor in 2025.
Earlier in his career, he was involved in the operation and divestment of a renewable energy portfolio of 100 MW in Türkiye.
Koksal holds a BSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Management.
